Connecting audience to cultural context
I often create videos that play in the lobby, orienting audiences to the energy of the production and dropping hints about the play's cultural contexts.

Connecting collaborators to questions
I typically create dramaturgical breakdowns to focus asynchronous conversations with my team and design websites and rehearsal room displays with relevant information to support rehearsal conversations.
Connecting production ensemble and community
With some productions, my dramaturgical work extends into the local community. For Cabaret, I led conversations between University of Evansville students and Temple Adath B'Nai Israel congregants.
Connecting Students to Dramaturgical Practice
I have mentored student dramaturgs on more than 130 productions. We call ourselves Team Dramaturgy, and I encourage them to bring their unique perspectives to the process.

Students explore their own dramaturgical sensibilities.

Students reflect on dramaturgy's impact on their learning and diverse career paths.
